Dental Crowns

A dental crown covers a damaged or weakened tooth completely, restoring its strength, shape, and function so you can bite and chew comfortably again.

When a Crown Might Be Recommended

A crown may be recommended for a tooth with a large cavity, a large existing filling, a crack, or a tooth that's become brittle after a root canal. Rather than losing the tooth altogether, a crown lets us rebuild it into a strong, natural-looking piece you can rely on every day.

What to Expect

Getting a crown usually takes a visit or two. We'll shape the tooth, take an impression or digital scan, and fit you with a custom crown designed to match the rest of your smile. If a tooth is beyond what a crown can fix, we'll talk with you about dentures and partials or other restorative options instead.

Why It Matters

  • Protects a weakened or heavily damaged tooth from further breakdown
  • Restores normal biting and chewing function
  • Designed to blend naturally with your smile
